bracelet Magnents

Anybody use those bracelets with magnets in them? If so, what are they designed to do, and do they work?

I saw one for like $20 at golf galaxy... any cheaper alternatives? it's a piece of rope with a magnet in it after all!

They do nothing. Have been proven to do nothing, and people who wear them are advertising how stupid they are.

I wouldn't dig too deep into the technology. That would totally destroy the placebo effect. While I don't claim to know everything, I would be shocked if there was any other benefit.

Edit: I was talking about the Phiten ones, I guess the Trion-Z ones are magnets.

wore a black and hot pink trion:z bracelet for over a year for no reason other than i thought it looked cool...

it did absolutely nothing for my golf game, or any other game for that matter.

i just felt sexy cause i'm a super macho guy and i was wearing a pink bracelet.

Well......I'll suck it up and admit it...I wear an EFX Bracelet http://www.efxusa.com/home and LOVE IT. While it's not a magnet it does help with my balance in not only golf but also running and adult league softball. Say I wasted my money.....(lame reasoning BTW....tell me that EVERY golf purchase you made was great!!)....the placebo thing or whatever you want to say......but for me it works. Even if it is all psychological.....who gives a &^*!!?? If it helps in ANY way....than who really cares?? If you want to buy one....buy one.
