North Face caps fit my head so I wear them. Theres no logo on the front, but there's a tiny one on the back. Does that make me a walking billboard too? You've used the term "Tilly Hat" many times. Why not just say "wide brimmed hat"?

Because like I said above, I wear them, I like them, and I will promote what I consider to be a good product. That still doesn't mean that I'm going to wear the name on my hat, or on my shirt, or whatever every time I leave the house.

What is this vendetta that you have with me anyway? I didn't attack anything you said here. I don't care what anyone else wears. Why do you care what I wear? Give it a rest.

With you personally? Nothing at all.

I just put it out there that specifying your headwear, adding golf club manufacturers in your signature, and even giving props to equipment could be seen as promoting all those brands - I do it too, so I have no problems with it. Maybe my comment was directed at the wrong poster - it was meant for the guy who implied wearing a logo hat turned someone into a "walking billboard".

Most of the time I wear my North Carolina hat. I was a student there for 9 years. I think that entitles me to wear the hat. If it's really hot and sunny out, I break out the big floppy REI hat:

But I got no problem with anyone wearing whatever hat they want.

If you're that snobby of a golfer to make people wear golf branded hats on the golf course, you've got some problems. Wear whatever the hell you want.

    • Day 167 - 2025-03-16 Hit balls after a long day. Junior Elite and a few lessons. Meh.
    • It kinda is… and Tiger isn't super young anymore. You're missing the fact that Tiger changed the game. Golfers put far more strain and stress on their bodies now than they did fifty freaking years ago. The sport is different now. It's faster, and you have to be significantly better now to even make it to the PGA Tour let alone stay there than you did in Jack's day.
    • Well, at least it got fixed & you’ll be back nonetheless.
    • Day 5 March 16th, 2025 Went to the range for about an hour. Worked on backswing and downswing piece. Finally got to making shorter backswings. Feeling like the swing stops when hips get to hip height. That is more of a feeling for how much the hands move, the hands get closer to A3-A3.5.
    • Seems like Jack was pretty "old" when he won his last Masters. And Gary Player is still playing, despite being a fitness freak all his life. Years ago, Cary Middlecoff stated that Tiger was going to have back problems after he reached the age of 30, due to the body torque he used in his swing. But Tiger has also had plenty of issues with the rest of his body. And the car crash certainly didn't help. Has any golfer been as "injury prone" as Tiger?
