No kidding. Have you ever heard the colloquialism, "tongue in cheek"?

Cleveland wedges dominate the market for a reason

Really???? I thought it was Titleist...I see them everywhere!!!
Yeah but the cg15 blows the 14 out of the water, check out clevelands site for details

This is the Spin Milled Technology that Titleist has had for years.....whay is so special about these grooves (Not trying to be rude, but certainly interested on the diff if any)?

I will be in the market for a wedge soon...thinking about getting a med bounce LW and I am considering Titleist SM 60-07, cg14, or the cg15. I looked at the new TM wedge with the interchangeable face plates, but the finishing on it sucks!!!!! it looks like a cheap metallic-wannabe finish to me.!!!!
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

laser milled, spin milled, hand milled with a diamond by a naked super model while being hand fed grapes near a swimming pool in Malibu, who cares. if it has proper grooves, i'm good to go.

my favorite wedges are still the cleveland 588's which I recently found on sale for $60 at a local shop...almost too cheap for me to not buy just to buy it.

whietiger94,

In the last 12 months, I have tried CG10, 12, 14, and 15 wedges.

The CG12 and CG14 models feel similar at impact, although the CG14 feels smoother overall (probably the gel insert). Both these models come in about $89 each. If you got CG12s, you might consider putting Sensicore inserts in the shaft butt.

CG15 wedges felt good, although fitting board shots indicated I'd need two-dot. (Good validation for my CG14 below.) I try to stretch my club $$ by buying the bestg technology from the previous cycle.

You could also take a look a Callaway X-Forged (fairly high bounce) and earlier Mizuno MP-T series wedges. About $70 each.

Focus, connect and follow through!

I recommend you try them out if you can. I like Cleveland, Titleist and Mizuno wedges. I ended up getting the titleist because the swing weight felt better to me. Mizuno felt the heaviest. they are all great wedges.

It is all personal with the OEMs - I'm probably going to put some lead tape on my only Vokey - it's just too light for me.

I have CG 12's and 14's. Can't go wrong with either one. I went with a CG14 for my 52 as it is maybe a little more forgiving and I use it from 110yrds in....so a lot of full swings. I notice very little difference between the feel of the 14's vs the 12's though......

I went with the Nike VR Forged Wedges, mainly just because I got such a great deal on them -- they haven't disappointed at all but I do feel I might have liked the Vokey or Cleveland wedges just a bit more. $85 is a great deal.
