I keep mine in the laundry room inside the gargage...golf bags are a huge target in South Florida as opportunists will drive by and take things right out of your gargage...like my kid's Easton bike. Today they are in the car as I am contemplating a possible range excursion.

After a round or driving range session, what do you guys do with your clubs?

Funny that I should find this thread, but for all of you that keep you clubs in your car, my brother just had his bag stolen from the trunk of his car that was parked in his driveway. He never leaves his clubs in the car, but this one time, he had played on Thursday morning and was playing on Friday morning so he left them in the car. After we made a list of everything in the bag, retail replacement cost, $4800!!!

Not like he lives in a high crime area either, he lives in a middle class, neighborhood in Wichita, KS.

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?

House. If you leave them in the car, temperature swings could prematurely age your grips.

I keep my in the garage on a rack with my other golf equipment. If it gets too hot in the garage I take them into the Laundry room (annoys the wife some but a lot easier on the clubs).

I keep them in the trunk of my car. At home, the garage is under shade trees, and at work, I park in a cement garage which never gets above 75* F. in temperature even during the summer.

Focus, connect and follow through!

In my garage. Too many instances of stolen clubs in the area.

So, doesn't anybody keep their CAR in the garage??? My clubs are always in my trunk, but when the car is home, it is in the garage with the door closed and locked... and there is no outside entrance except the main garage door. That was one commitment that my wife and I made when we moved into this house... the garage was for CARS, not for storage. If we collect that much junk, then it's time for a landfill run.

In my truck. Love hitting a bucket of balls after work. Or if my dad decides we need to play today "work is slow..."....I have them right there with me.

After getting 2 sets stolen in my life, I bring them into the house every time. Not risking leaving them in the car.

Ditto....

ditto, ditto - that way I can hit 9 or 18 on the way home, hit the range at lunch, never know when I might get a chance to hit balls or even putt for 20-30 minutes between service calls (mobile computer tech).

    • Yes. If you choose to take the ball out of the bunker instead of taking maximum available relief… it costs a stroke.
    • I got another one today....Number 17. Par 5 that has water left and right on the layup. I smacked a drive down the left side and got a little lazy on the layup and fanned my 6 iron. With 112 to a crowned green I got it to 3 feet and birdie!  Only 5 and 15 is left for this year!
    • Maybe I didn’t explain this properly. Back and front can be confusing.  There was no place in the bunker that didn’t have 2-3 inches of rain water in it, except for a small spot on the slope nearest the pin. If I had dropped there I would be moving 6-7 feet closer to the hole. Since my ball was just inside the bunker, farthest side from the hole, I dropped one club length backward, which brought me out of the bunker. I could not have hit from that deep of water. Are you saying I would have had to take a penalty stroke due to rain water?
    • Day 550, May 5, 2024 Got a good hour in with a typical (for me) two-stick setup: pool noodle angled in front, yardstick on the ground angled 45° behind me.
    • Day 130: Cinco de Mayo Day 7/24 of Full Speed Spectrum training. Difficult training day after struggling to certify my warmup yesterday, and today. Finished 13 mph lower than my training speed on Thursday. Hope to hit some balls today.
