Luke Donald's body looks wayyy ahead of his hands. Is that just the camera angle or that his impact position?

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

His hands are in front of his upper centers and stance, but his lower centers, hips, are pushed forward. Looks like the impact position of any good player to me. The hips are supposed to be that far forward, it is how you achieve the downward strike and forward swing bottom.

Well seeing that gives me more confidence. My swing looks quite similar and while watching myself in slow motion I was concerned with my body being too far ahead of my hands/swing. Now I don't feel so bad.

If you look a lot like this at impact, you are in good shape and won't be an 18 for long!

His belt buckle is a great reference in this video because it's so visible. Put a mouse pointer on it at address and watch where it goes. That's why the S&T; guys are always banging on about "raising the belt."
