Rick Reilly- the guy best known for his weekly collumn on the back page of Sports Illustrated is actually a golf writer at heart. He has a couple books that are just golf related that are pretty solid reads.

I just got done reading "The PGA Manual" by Rick Martino. Very good basic points that are used at the PGA teaching school.

Someone gave me a novel about golf called "A Mulligan for Bobby Jobe". I can't remember the author, but it is good fiction. It's about a Pro golfer who went blind and then tried to make a comeback. Pretty good read.

Bud, Sweat, and Tees is a GREAT book by Alan Shipnick, a must read in my opinion.

John Daly's book- I haven't read but really want to.

Phil Mickelson's One Magical Sunday- again haven't read but it looks great.

An absolute MUST read in my opinion is Missing Links by Rick Reilly. This is an excellent book, not sappy typical Rick Reilly stuff but a great story and very entertaining.

Any John Feinstein is good. One I loved that was out a few years ago was "A Range Ball In A Box Of Titleists" by Gary McCord. I have not read Daly's new book, but he had one out after he won the British that was a good read.
