So guys a week ago I started actually playing again after 3 months of study, and.......I sucked, shot in the 80s three times pulled nearly everything, nearly broke down in tears on the 18th

So was watching footage of myself ever since then and I keep having different guesses each of which are wrong so far, so Ive come to the conclusion I have an over the top backswing.....but my downswing seems just as it always was. My backswing is just like thoses over the top players downswing, weird shoulder and right elbow movement, but the downswing seems fine.

Now I cant get footage from my phone to my pc, but let my assure you its an ott players downswing for my backswing, Im too poor to get lessons atm but guys Im a 4 handicap I have to fix this quick, plz help

can you upload footage from your phone to YouTube?

weird, I'd like to see the vid as well. how can a backswing be over the top? I know there are certain things that can set up an over the top downswing but....

Yeah...that seems a little weird. An OTT move is usually back down, though it starts with the backswing. Maybe you're just spinning yourself out, and not realizing it?

Over the top means the club and usually hands get too far in front of you, too close to the ball. Lots of players do this on the backswing, drop the hands into the slot and come down on a better line. It is however recommended to get the hands on the proper path right away, to avoid having to loop the club around.

If this is the case, I'd recommend reading this thread: http://thesandtrap.com/forum/threads/30325

There should be no problem getting a video from an iPhone to a PC, google it or ask someone else for help. Without a video it is hard to give you any suggestions.

Its not an iphone and it cant email lol, what I meant was I took the club almost straight up outside then to the top, its what ott-ers do on their downswing, well turns out it was a cause of not turning the right hip, therefore throwing the hands out and up
