Oh golly I'm hot today!!
Kidding aside, when we set the course up for junior PGA kids we just put the tee boxes in the fairway. We also have several senior women who just tee off from the 200 or 150 disks.
Integrity, sportsmanship and character.
Obviously a pretty subjective and selectively applied criteria in the case of the Baseball Hall of Fame. There are definitely some pretty shady characters enshrined in Cooperstown. I think the commonality between the steroid-era guys and the gamblers (like our buddy that played down I-75) is that those guys embarrassed Major League Baseball.
I probably take off 6-7 days a year to play golf, especially when the weather starts to heat up in the spring. I actually just took this past Tuesday off and played. Doing the same thing next Thursday. I am getting ready to change jobs, and I am trying to burn a few sick days before I lose them.
My new job pays you each year for your unused leave, so going forward I will have to make a tough decision, golf or money.
I don't play in the rain, but considering we average about 10 inches of rain a year that's not normally an issue. 40° is about my cutoff as far as temperature, but the average high even in December and January is 50° so again not really an issue. I wish Albuquerque wasn't such a shitty city, because the weather is great!
