Naval Air Station Pensacola during a Blue Angel's practice. I found the golf course actually has some of the best views as the planes sometimes fly right over the top of you or they are maneuvering to set up their next formation.

Harding Park golf course in San Francisco is just across the lake from two shooting ranges, one clay shot gun range and a police shooting range.

I've never seen that exactly, but a country club near where I live borders woods owned by a rod and gun club, and during deer season you better not stray into the woods to find a golf ball.

this is right next to one of my home courses. so close that you can't hit driver on race day because if you slice it hard it will fly into the track area.. yeah.

It's loud. Usually I can turn around about half way there because I can already hear the cars.

You can barely see out towards the course in the back ground..

They don't. That's an 0-6-0 built by the Grand Trunk Railroad in 1921.

It did say something about kanada on it. I knew it was a antique. I heard it all day today...

Nothing compared to when my grandpa and I played at the El Toro Marine base every weekend. Especially during the first Iraq war when fully loaded cargo planes would blast off one after another.

Yes, those birds are monsters. I was flying a Cessna at about 4000ft 10 miles or so south of El Toro and saw one of those puppies coming towards me on the climb-out (right hand turning departure). So big it seemed to hang in the air somehow. A most awesome and somewhat disquieting sight when you're in a plane grossing about 2000lb.

As to noises on the green: the one I hate is the sound of someone un-velcro'ing his glove just as you're about to putt. I try hard not to do that to someone else.

One of the course I play has a hole hard against a major road with lots of traffic, in a rural setting. Every now and then, some joker has to lean on his horn during the middle of your swing, so you just learn to expect it and not be bothered when it happens.
