Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

Do you remember the irons Browning had out in the 1980s? The looked like chippers.

I concur with this...the VAS with the bizarre hosel and pink sticker was incredibly ugly!

Those were actually some pretty good playing irons AND they have a US Open under their belt.

Spalding Executives get my vote, some believe Spalding never recovered from these irons as they did have a good reputation until these were produced. I just remember the salesmen telling me these were the clubs when I was shopping for a set of irons at the time, I walked right out of the shop and went and bought some
Wilsons and have played Wilsons ever since.

I don't think those Lil David Slingers are that bad, they're just odd.


I think any of the new Ping G(ardenhose) 10 or 15's or the K series and all that sh*t...those are the worst. Why the f*** would I want to swing an iron that looks like it weighs 40 pounds and actually IS like 35 pounds? No thank you, ma'am.

The bazooka geo-max is a hideous golf club.
Cleveland hi-bores are awful.
the cobra s9's, not a fan of the black rubber on the topline.
Anything callaway has ever made.
and the ugliest really succesful irons have to be the ping eye 2's. especially the wedges, boy those are funky lookin

Based on your index they're extremely funtional - like a first generation Chevy Avalanche or Pontiac Aztec.

Those Slingslot oss irons are definitely one of the worst I've seen along with some of those hybrid irons they've been making lately.

Anything callaway has ever made.

X-Forged or X Prototypes

In my opinion the ugliest irons are the ones that produce the ugliest results so i would rather play with say slingshots then VR Blades if they were better but that isnt true as the nike VR Blades are amzing

      It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…

      I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
