They gave up Rashard Lewis. Pietrus, Carter, and Gortat. They kinda come out pretty even in my book, minus Gortat (who kills the Celtics).

I have usually gone to 4 or 5 Thunder games by this time of the season, but I took the first couple months off to get through the holiday season.  That being said, I'll be going to watch the Thunder/Grizzlies Saturday night and the Thunder/Magic next Thursday.  I'm excited to get back into the groove, and I'm especially excited to watch us play the Magic.  They have retooled their roster and are playing well.  The Thunder is in a similar position as last season, but we are a few games better at this point.  We are playing decent, but it could definitely be better.  We have a ton of road games in January, so we need to stay afloat after losing a couple in a row.  We haven't lost 3 in a row all season, but it will be tough to keep that streak going against Dallas tomorrow night.  We shall see.

I'm not a Heat fan, but it's been cool to see them gel and start to take over games the past month or so.  They are going to be extremely tough down the stretch.  If Boston is healthy, they are still a better overall team.  But will they be healthy?

Also, how about those Lakers?  I'm definitely not a fan of them, and it's been nice to see them struggle lately.  It wouldn't hurt my feelings to see them lose a lot of games down the stretch. :)

I went to the game vs Bucks.

Lakers played worse than a high school team. Haven't watch a single Lakers game since they got trashed by the Heats.

Rather spend my time at the driving range!

    • Day 2: played 18. Driving was decent to good. Approach play was meh. Short game meh, and putting solid. Added up to an 81. Needed more tap in pars and more birdie chances.
    • Day 8 (28 Jun 26) - Worked with face position at address and overall setup - open/neutral/closed - and setting up for resulting shot shapes - using 8i and hard foam balls.  It was abbreviated as the thunder began to rumble. Got in about 20 swings before calling it.
    • Tale of two swings.  Swing 1: Slightly outside takeaway (hands move outside of target line) only to allow trail elbow over collapsing at P4. Doesn't take much to overdo it for the trail elbow collapse to only further exaggerate. That's death. Swing 2: Hands stay slight in at takeaway for a much better trail elbow condition at P4. This is a hard sell from an instinct perspective. More focus on un-weighting and re-weighting of lead foot to unlock a bit more mobility of hips and torso. A major flaw that creeps up often is me swinging flat footed and becoming overly armsy-collapsy as a result. Got reminded of this the hard way during my 2nd round match for club net championship. Was cruising along 2up until I made the turn. Then lost the swing for next five holes. Andy was playing good enough to capitalize. By the time I regained my swing on 16th, it was too late. Even Andy was like "That was a gift". Obviously that stings because have played well enough lately. Should have closed him out of the game comfortably with a few holes to spare. Shoulda woulda coulda. Tough lesson. Damn. P.S. I know the swings look very similar but trust me there is a difference.
