Just a warning for those of you working out in cold weather. Make sure you drink enough water. Just because it's not 90 degrees out doesn't mean you don't need your water.

Being the weather is cold, people tend to drink more coffee, which is a diuretic that draws moisture out of your body.

Good point. Sunscreen too, especially if you are skiing.

Blech - I hate the aftertaste of sunscreen.

Thanks for the heads-up. I played today, and it certainly wasn't 90°. But I think it was close to 80°. I had plenty to drink (mostly water and watered down sports drink), but I don't remember putting on sunscreen -- I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow.

      I wonder if that is why my home course basically have no stakes now.  Not even markers.  It’s completely up to golfers to remember what is OB and hazard and how things used to be marked.     Even in tournaments, there is no marking and certain areas are played differently by different golfers who either don’t know better or use it to their advantage funny reading thru this with courses that actually have markers

      Great post, thanks for the informaiton. I try to avoid adding salt to anything I eat. I tend to add pepper on to my meals as opposed to salt. And I am trying to eat as clean on possible. On golf day, I eat 3 eggs for breakfast (pepper NO salt) and a salad for lunch, with grilled chicken thigs (pepper, garlic, no salt). I have been trying to avoid processed food, but we all slip. I also should have mentioned that the electrolyte packet calls for mixing with 16 oz of water, however I mix in 32 oz of water, so I dilute the electrolyte powder.

      So if I read the news correctly, the PIF will not fund LIV after this season.  LIV is trying to find new funding and a number of players there are now asking about getting back to the Tour.    I am very, very concerned that Taylor Gooch will not have a place where he can make a jackass out of himself soon
