It is because we are trying to explain that forging is a different process of producing a iron. I wonder if he even knows what the difference is between 1020, 1025 etc Carbon Steels?

Forging is seen as 'better' because the grains of the steel deform and align into a more uniform pattern as opposed to casting which this doesn't happen. Some people say this hampers the feel of a cast club. Casting also allows more intricate to shapes to be made that forging cannot provide. Hence why cast clubs are often cavity backs even though you can still cast a blade if you want to. Blades are often forged because people relate forging with better player irons and are under the illusion that they have a better feel. A good example of a cast cavity back are the ping player irons until the recently released anser irons, proving that the feel is pretty much not an issue.

EDIT: Forgot to include that Forgings are often done with low carbon steels(e.g. 1020) because it allows it to be easily forged instead of being heated to a higher temperature as low carbon steels are much more malleable. Casting is usually done with Stainless steel because it flows a lot better in the mould when molten as opposed to carbon steel which is very viscous when molten.

Again, guys, please let's get back to the original topic. I know it's fun to point out when someone's wrong but it's not helping the OP.
