Hi Iacas, why do you do that thing at the end of your swing. Like, are you doing that "no follow through" move in all your swings? I'm assuming you mean to do that( I reckon your not the sort of guy to do something by accident). Do you see some sort of advantage in holding the swing and not finishing "high"

Taking the above advice may lead to destruction of your golf game. Laughing at it may reduce stress.

Before I answer, I'll point out that I removed your classless comment. Grow up.

I don't know what you're talking about. That's a full follow-through. It might not wrap around my neck but that's simply because my arms have not flown off my torso as in some other swings, but that's not "no follow through."

HAHA, no worries.

Your follow through is short though...isn't it? I mean do you swing the driver like that and end the swing with the club pointing at third base or do you have a different finish for the longer clubs?

I'm not criticising your swing or anything but on a normal iron swing would you finish like that? and do you see any advantages in that finish compared to the big arms over the shoulder flourish?

It's not short, no.

Tiger's swing is as long as mine. His shoulder (this swing is from 2007) and thus right arm measurements are different but his swing is the same length.

Are you seriously confusing a practice swing and a feel with an actual swing? In no way is the club pointing at third base - the BUTT OF THE CLUB is pointing well 45° or so left of third base, and the clubhead itself is pointing more than 180° farther than third base.

Probably, but that's pretty stupid.

Thank you for that first video, it helps more than you know.  Also reminds me of this:

Knowing what you need to work on (Phase 1) and knowing what happens when you are successful (Phase 3) are important, but I think actually HOW you practice the pieces and accomplish the goal is too often overlooked. :)  It's so easy to say to myself, "Well, James wants me to keep my left shoulder down longer" then just go pound through a bucket of balls trying to do that each time, and frequently feeling like I accomplished absolutely nothing.

You didn't offend. I'd simply advise you to read before you make comments.

A few quickies from my daughter yesterday...

Changed grip (left heel pad a bit more on top of the club), setup a little bit (a little more slumpy feeling). Look at the differences at A5.

Even before she could line it up pretty well, but she's added significant speed with these changes:

P.S. Suck on that bottom right one, pretty-much-everyone-myself-included. :)
