just picked up a new superfast 2.0 and all i can say is WOW!!! Anyone looking for serious improvement off the tee this club is for you, i was a bit skeptical thinking that the longer shaft would set up awkward but that was not the case...i upgraded from a 909 and im so glad i did..ive had it out on the course once and im hitting it 20 or 25 yards further than the 909 and i was hitting it a little off the toe all day, hoping for big things for the rest of this golf season!

That's cool man. I was going to try out the Superfast but I didn't care for the looks at set up. I also don't like the shaft it comes with so i went back to an old used Burner and replaced the shaft. But I have heard good things about the Supefast. Enjoy let us know after a few rounds if you are still digging it.

I have the original Superfast and have to say that it is light years ahead of anything I have tried out in the distance category.  Originally I messed around with it and had it shortened and put an Iomic grip on it which took the swing weight from a D8 down to like a D1 which COMPLETELY changed the driver.  This is my only complaint in that the club is so light, ANY modification will affect swingweight terribly.

Has anyone noticed a difference in performance from the Superfast to the Superfast 2.0?

i spent hours at my local golfsmith hitting drivers before i decided to commit...both this years superfast and last years superfast are pretty similar, i was getting a little more carry out of the new one though, about 260 avg(with the 2.0) and 249 (with the original)...if you can get past the deafening  sound at impact id say the new superfast is worth the upgrade..id also say its a bit lighter than the stock superfast, im not quite sure what the weight numbers you stated mean.

The new 2.0 is a great driver but the one that will make it into the bag is the TP. This is the head they are playing on tour that you see on TV all the time. It is the Burner 2.0 TP head with the top graphics taken off. Shaft is amazing and not a long as the regular Burner. It is much more consistent and gave a might tighter shot pattern. Head shape is better to my eye also.

My take on the R11...if you are fit right from the start, there is no need to have an adjustable club. So save the $100 or so. Get the better shaft.

I picked up a Superfast 2.0 on Saturday and after 2 days at the range I still have a smile on my face. I switched from a Mizuno MP-600 and I have to say there is zero comparison. I feel like the ball really comes off the face hot and I cant wait to be on a golf course.

A friend I was playing with a couple weeks ago had just gotten the new Burner.  I hit it three times on the back side and they were the three longest drives of the day.  I don't like looking down at that big white head, but it's crazy how good the contact felt compared to my Titleist 909.  Ironically, I had an unused Burner head 2010 model so I took it in this week to put a Grafalloy Pro Launch Red with it.  We'll see how it works, but the 2011 model gets my applause...

What's in the Bag:
Driver: Taylormade SLDR 12*
3-wood: Taylormade Burner 15*
Hybrid: Taylormade Burner 19*
Irons: Callaway XR

Wedges: Vokey 50*, 54*, 58*
Putter: Scotty Newport Studio

I hit a dozen balls into the net with the 2.0 the other day and wasn't that impressed. It had a  "clunky" sound coming off the face and the visual of looking down at that white face wasn't good to my already messed up head. Maybe I need to hit it outdoors to get a better feel.

Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated

it does sound really clunky/loud indoors, get it outside and it sounds like a dream!
