This is a tough one because I play public places... but I would have to go with Balboa Park Golf Course in San Diego.
It is such a great course and no mater how good you might be... it is a challenge for everyone.
I would rather play Bolboa over Torrey Pines, many days of the week. I know crazy, but I think if Balboa weas lenghtened, and had poa annua greens it would rival Torrey as far as the slope or difficulty of the course.
Any of you guys agree?
I also love Sycuan (Singing Hills), Barona Creek, host to last years Nationwide tour champ., and um I'll go Tecolote Canyon for a Executive type course.
Can't forget Salt Creek, our local "links" type course.

Hi All. Home course is now:

http://www.wollatonparkgolfclub.com/

Nice parkland course in great nick this year as it's the County course. Shame we know what the the greens staff are capable of now...
If you're ever in town, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do!

Learnt to play the game at:

http://www.longashtongolfclub.co.uk/...php/index.html

Lovely course (not long but front 9 is tight) with great greens.

Home Course: Wollaton Park GC, Nottingham, U.K.

Currently starting out so sticking to the local Par 3 which is Highlands Colony Links in Holderness, NH. White Mountain Golf Club in Ashland, NH is right down the street and will likely be my "home" course once I have progressed enough to play a full course.

    • Day 39 (26 Feb 26) - Switched up the drill today as I wanted to work on wedges from roughish grass.  Have noticed that I’ve been scoopy on wedges in longer grass in recent rounds, especially green side.  Worked on keeping hands slightly fwd at contact…nothing like seeing the ball solidly come out with predictable distance.
    • Day 51: 2026.02.26 Some swings outside after rewatching video. Need to film at range this weekend to see if I'm making progress.
    • Last night I got to see Keb Mo live again, this time in a fairly small hall (1600 seats.)  A great show, relaxed and homey feel, and probably the best sound mix I've ever heard. And for guitar-playing folks, there's a documentary of Danny Gatton showing on various PBS stations.  One of the least-famous but best players ever, here's the schedule, and a taste: Events - THE HUMBLER - Danny Gatton The PBS broadcasts have shown or are scheduled in the following states & territories: California, Colorado, District of Columbia, (Washington DC), Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri,
    • I have only played one round and birdied both of the par threes on the front nine. I have never played a game like this, new here. Excited to join
    • It is a diminishing tournament which is a bummer. Most of the time it has to do with where they sit on the schedule but it not being one of the big ones makes it tough to get the big guys. But it is a chance for everyone else to make something happen, which is always fun to see who takes advantage.
