Titleist for me they are the only one's who have got every catagory right. Drivers the best, much less spin than TM
Fairway woods long and great feel
hybrids very controlable/workable
Irons have something anyone who play reasonably well
Wedges what more do I have to say
putter can't get any better than scotty cameron except RIFE

Titleist has completly taken over the market for mid to low handicaps

I voted for titleist simply because of the balls and gloves but other wise i would pick cleveland. i already have driver, irons and putter ( nver comprimise but those vp milled sereies putters look gud ) and am getting cleveland hybrid and (3 wood posibly )and i have a cg 11 gap wedge but i love my vokey 58 degree so those two things swing towards titliest. Nike, Mizuno, TM callaway and mizuno are worthy of mentions but i only like some of their ranges.

Mizuno is the one I chose, but titleist, cleveland and taylor made are very close. Mizuno has the best irons...phenominal wedges as well, and they picked up bettinardi for their new milled black putters (sexy). Maybe the driver heads are the only thing that may be a bit lacking.

I choose Callaway because I believe they make the best range of equipment for many skill levels, which means they grow more easily with players as they get better. However, if I were close to scratch, I'd play all Titliest.

voted titleist as i used to have a full set of titleist and thought they were great. still use the woods as they lightyears ahead of every other manufacturer in that area. regret big time having given my newport to the old man but oh well, looking to get a fastback in the next few weeks from the rep.

However in reality i would NEVER give up my 67's the feel is just non-comparable

it came down to titeist and mizuno for me, but it was the drivers that i prefer that made the difference

i almost through tm in there, but they dont have a forged iron that is somewhere near a true blade and a cb.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
