I use plastic tees. I use a longer one (2 1/2") for the driver and a broken one that's about 3/4" long for everything else. I use the short one because sometimes it's just easier to adjust my tee if I put it in slightly on an angle and the ball won't stay on it when it isn't buried 2" into the ground. Just lost my driver tee last week on a bad drive (insult to injury), but had another in the bag. Pretty sure I found them both on the course. I can't think of the last time I bought tees.

I currently use plastic stepped tees, but I also have wood ones. The plastic ones don’t break as quickly, and the results are about the same.

    • This isn't going to show you lateral dispersion at all. It's basically just a radar (for speed) launch monitor. It doesn't measure spin or anything like that. Not even launch direction.

    • Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.
