Best 3-Wood for under $100?

Title says it all, looking for any suggestion. I don't care for my current 3-woods (see signature) address postition being square, the quad keel because I feel it's kind of iffy trying to hit off the fairway which I may encounter a few times a round, and it's just overall banged up. All the white paint that was painted in the center grooves is gone (I guess you could say that's a good thing ;) ) and the sole is losing what little beauty it had. Thanks guys.

See if you can find a Taylormade R7 in the loft and flex you like.  These can be had on eBay for <$100 and are excellent.

What kind of lies are you hitting from? Do you mean "fairway" fairway or anything grassy between the tee box and the green? I have a few 3 woods and they're all good in their own way. It really depends on what you want to do with it.

From a clean lie when you just want to hit the ball as far as humanly possible, my 2009 Cleveland Launcher 15 degree is fantastic. My Callaway X-Tour is a little better from a sketchy lie, but it's still a better choice to go with a hybrid or a mid-iron in that case. You gotta pick your spots.

I have a few vintage persimmon 3-woods and they're typically a great head design for a variety of shots, but a decent strike only goes the distance as a modern 5-wood, so I might also consider a 4 or 5-wood.

By fairway I meant off of tight lies in the actual fairway. I believe the quad keel was suppost to help you to get the ball up with solid contact from lies not in the "fairway" but I don't think I've atttempted to hit my 3W out of non-fairway more than twice. So I want something with a low leading edge (mine doesnt) for more confidence off of hardpan lies and more reliable contact. I've thought about maybe toying with having both a 3 and 5 wood or something and switching out my lob wedge a few times. But I've never really seriously thought about it. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Since you seem like a Nike fan you might want to check out the Nike SQ Machspeed is going to give you great stability on the turf with it's square head.

is there a clubfitter in your area?  we have mad skills and resources that the general public isn't aware of.  there's a big world of golf out here besides Nike.  have you ever been fitted for clubs? i don't mean at a store like Golf Galaxy or Dicks or any other retail outlet, i mean someone who has been certified by some reputable organization.  we can build a club to suit your swing and wallet.

For the under $100 category, I vote for either the Taylormade 200 series or the Titleist 904F.

I swap back and forth between a Cobra S9-1 3 wood, and a Bobby Jones 4 wood (17°).  Either can be found slightly experienced for under $100.
