Not that I disagree, but could you imagine Butch's ego getting bigger?

Bottom line is that Tiger's problems are injury related and he has brought these on himself through his extreme training.....I guarantee Jack never ran more than 10 miles his entire professional career.

Fair point about the injuries and there may still be too much animosity there between him and Butch but Tiger really needs someone other than Sean Foley.

You shouldn't forget that Tiger was in a slump too after he switched to Harmon after his first Masters win. And we all know what happend after that slump, so give him some time

No opinion about teachers but I was wondering how much running he was doing with Williams. Don't know if it aggravated the knee. If I were advising a young player, cross training, swim, bike, light high rep weights, no running. If it's nothing serious he'll be back but it's been weird. He lived a charmed life for awhile, but no one avoids adversity.

I don't think his swing is that much worse with Foley.  I think he's striking the ball well and it's coming together.  What he needs to do is practice his freaking short game and putting.  Just watching him, it seems like he has not prepared enough when he gets in close.

I love all the armchair experts.  There is absolutely no evidence of a correlation between Tiger's injuries and running.

Except that his injuries are mostly in his .... leg, and running puts most of the impact on the ........... leg.  So using a damaged appendage should not make it worse?  Is that not a correlation?

Maybe it's not from running, but running on a bummed leg doesn't do it any favors.

Tiger's worries aren't with his leg......His wife left with the kids taking hundreds of millions of dollars with her. Tiger's image has been blasted, as it should be....He doesn't have Daddy to cry to and his mother is/was just the family help, look how she was treated on TV by the family. He has nobody.......He's mentally whooped and it might be awhile until he get's out of it.

Balancing all aspects of life while a professional has to be done to be the BEST of all time.

Hurt leg I think not.............How much leg does it take to hit a 30 yard chip into the water?

Have you seen Tigers swing during the Harmon and Haney days?  If something was going to blow out his left knee it was his swing and hyperextension, not running.  When he got to Haney, he only had 20% of his MCL attached, and from what I've read lately he's a candidate for knee replacement surgery.  The guy has been abusing his knees for 20 years + with the swing he has, in golf years, he's older than Phil.
