Great emotional win for David Toms. I'm disappointed Charlie couldn't pull it out, but hopefully he contends again soon.

I'm happy for Toms, especially after last week.

Exciting finish, shame that Appleby fell apart, but that's golf.  Glad to see Toms bounce back after last week AND after the disheartening 3rd round.  He's got some grit.

In the bag:

White Hot XG #1 Putter, 33"

Nice to see Toms get some redemption.  Watched AK and Henrik Stenson for 13 holes on Saturday.  Stenson's ball flight is a thing of beauty.  He gets really in front of the ball and hits really down on it.  The ball just takes off with a very audible shreaking whizzz, flighs high and far with a baby 3 yard fade at the end.  Stenson, with his 3 wood, was consistently outdriving AKs driver.   Stenson is freakishly good at striking a golf ball, if he could putt well, he'd be in contention all the time.  He only uses a golf tee when hitting driver--the 3 woods off the tee box--he hits them off the deck.

Stenson moves further forward (with his hips) in his backswing than almost anybody else.

I think that is the most notable thing about many of the younger players today. They start forward during the backswing--it is very noticeable with many of them.
