Seems like M. Wie will miss 4-6 weeks of golf as she hurt her wrist during a fall while running according to ESPN. Not sure if she is supposed to play in any upcoming tournaments.

She's supposed to play in the LPGA's first major. Somehow, she wasn't set to play in the LPGA events in her home state.

According tohttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelle_Wie , "Since she is not an LPGA member, she is limited to playing in no more than six LPGA events per year and only when granted entry by sponsor exemption."

Naturally, she wants to use her limited number of expemptions for the more prestigious LPGA tournaments.

Of course. In her shoes, I'd do that too... but there are only four majors, plus their match-play. Although in retrospect, she's holding on for events hosted by her sponsors.

She has more wrist problems than a teenage boy with a Playboy magazine.
Maybe she is a boy???

I think we got to a point where Michelle has more "chronic" and psychological problems than physical.

The wrist is a good excuse to "shield" any poor performance in the future.

It's kinda strange... maybe I should do some acupuncture for her!

Funny how you get different stories from the home camp on how she hurt herself. Maybe theres more going on at home than we know.

So far, I've head only one story about how she hurt her wrist. And if there are other stories, I haven't been able to find them.

I've also only heard one story: she hurt her wrist while jogging.

Sorry guys I can't find anything but she fell while jogging, the first I heard was she injured herself while doing a class to get in better golfing shaped to build her strength when she injured the wrist.
I believe it was on the golf channel when the news first came out. can't find no reference to a training class now.

    • I rewatched this last night on HBO Max, and I re-affirm this. I loved Dune Par 1. It finally brought Dune to the big screen in the best way possible. Dune Part 2 is so much better, which is impressive. I like the direction they went with the characters in the story compared to the books. It was brought up to date in a good way. Yea, I am glad to see that they are working on Dune Part 3.
    • I love Louisville Golf's Niblicks, which they made for me decades ago and I began using again, though I now replaced the shafts for whippier ones (see my recent post). Unlike your photo, mine had steel bottoms. Forget about eBay, Louisville still makes them. They work much better for me than the modern metal woods.
    • Went to the range today at Scottish Highlands in Salem NH. Worked on getting my chest turning away and then through the ball. Worked out well as shots had a little more distance and more consistent flights. Gained 20 yards with the few drivers I hit. They have a pretty good short game practice area so I spent a good half hour hitting chips and pitches.  After the range I went to the gym for a back workout. Went well and I'm excited to move forward with this new workout program.
    • I'm trying to look up course ratings and slopes for courses in Michigan on the NCRB Database.   On their site when I type in the course name and add the state, the database finds the course.  My issue arises when I select the course to see the different tees, ratings, and slopes.  I can get to here: When I select the course, it takes the user (me) back to the query screen    I've tried using Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.   I've tried it on my desktop, laptop, tablet, and phone with the same results.      Would somebody search for a course and see if the problem is on my end?     thanks,   Denny
    • We did applaud, but we were a small group and did not get the "ROAR" of a great shot at the US Open.
