My trek to find the right driver appears to have ended. I'm on a Sasquatch (last year's) 10.5 deg, reg stiffness. Had a Big Bertha 454 10 deg then swapped to a FT-3 9 deg draw and now the SQ.

The 454 was the longest club, the FT-3 was a disaster and the SQ is heaven on a bun for me.

i bought the new callaway big bertha 460 3 weeks ago and I love it! Very straight, very forgiving. The huge head gives a lot of confidence at address.

Had a Cobra 454 comp with a 45g Mitsu Rayon stiff shaft for a year and the club head developed a hairline fracture along the top of the crown. Nice club, but always felt a little light and i felt like i would "lose" it in my hands. The shaft also felt a little wooden to me, maybe a bit too stiff.

Sent it to cobra to get it replaced and UPS broke the shaft during shipment so cobra gave me a brand new club with the newest HS9 head and Graphite designs YS-5 55g stiff flex.

Like it much much better. Has a little more weight to it and overall feels great and is very forgiving. I also tend to hit it about 15 yards further now, but that probably has more to do with my recent swing adjustment.

to the HS9!

I demo'd this driver for several days during my little fiasco with cobra and the thing is definitely a beast. If cobra was going to give me the same club again, i was going to buy this club. Very long and forgiving and also beautifully simple.

I use the Ping G5, just like my boy Bubba Watson

No, but really it's a great club. I use a 13.5 degree (dont make fun of me lol) and it works really well. I can consistently hit it 230-260 and I'm only 5'6" 130 lbs and in my first year of golf.

I just got a TaylorMade R5 TP 8.5 degree with the Mitsubishi Diamana shaft, reset from factory draw bias to neutral weighting. Compared it with an R7 425 and just felt better and flew better for me for some reason. Hit it about the same distance as my old Titleist but picked up some more carry and a lot more forgiveness.

My bag:

There's nothing wrong with a 13.5 degree driver, especially if you hit it well.

I use a Bridgestone J33R driver with a stiff Aldila shaft. While I love this driver, cuz I hit around 60% of the fairways, I am curious to see if I can find another driver than can add 10 more yards (without any loss of accuracy).
