Without a doubt David Duval.

If Duval ever gets back to the winner's circle again we might see some good play from him for a while after that too. He is really streaky, remember how long it took him to get his first TOUR win, then I think after he finally broke through he won like 2 or 3 times right away after that as well.

WOW... the first three you mentioned where the 3 that first came to my mind. Duval, Couples and Daly. Would be nice if either of those three could even get into contention come sunday. Would be some fun golf to watch.

I agree, he would've won the Johnnie Walker if not for the 2nd round collapse. He was still able to muster up a 3rd place finish. Even after shooting 5 over in round 2. It was a confidence builder for him and thats what he needed.

Mike Weir for sure. There will be four days coming up soon where he will put it all together and win. Today he drove it very well, but then the iron play and putting let him down for a while.

Being Canadian I would love to see Mike Weir win or at least be in contention alot more this year. Its that much harder for him to win because he cant bomb it like the other guys can. He has to pretty much play a flawless game to keep up with the longballers that are out there these days.

I would like to see Couples win at least one more before he moves on to the champions tour. And Daly, just so he can stay on tour period. I still like some of the guys from the nineties that haven't won in a while.( Janzen, Leonard to name a couple). We're slowly seeing a transition from the old school to the new school.

      Day 26 (16 Feb 25) - Basically a repeat of yesterday- only it was a bit more expanded chips/pitches - 7i, 9i, 50° and 58°.   Big exception was I was hitting groups of 5 one club at a time.  Focused on a specific target point - and coming smoothly through the ball, not punchy.  Got it right about 3 out of 5 - more work needed.

      Things didn’t work out with the cutting horse barn my wife was working for there in Virginia. Their Texas facility we were supposed to move down to ended up delayed for at least an extra year after they’d had us leave Virginia to meet them down there “shortly”. So we ended up getting some land by her family in Missouri and building a house of our own down here instead. Not as many courses, but there is one 5 minutes from the house that’s only $62/mo for both of us to be members at and other nicer ones within a reasonable drive as well.    @Rick_D I’ll try to remember to let you know when I’m heading up that direction. It may happen more frequently in the coming year since a dealer for a business I started recently is based out of St Charles so making deliveries myself might be more economical than shipping.

      I don’t know why my swing got so vertical there. That wasn’t normal.    What did you mean by point 3? I get the hip turn portion.
