Buying used clubs safely.

Are there any places some people on here may recommend for buying used clubs.

I will not just google it for the chance of fakes and I would rather deal with a reputable place a lot of people have had positive experiences with.

I have bought (and sold) a lot of clubs on ebay.  I have had very good luck, and it is a great way to try-out different brands of clubs (that are not available to demo anymore).

There are a lot of reputable sellers of clubs on ebay.  Just do your research on sellers and buy with paypal.

Just wasn't sure if anyone has popped up recently doing it outside of ebay with comparable prices.

And yes I am always very careful on EBay, haven't had a bad transaction purchasing yet on there.

Now selling that's a different story.

You should not have an issue. Callaway has more non-Cally clubs that it sells, too.

Both sites have frequent sales.

Kind of a competitor to this site but golfwrx.com has a really good classified section that gets a lot more action than the one here (this site is better of course!  :) ) .  I just got a used set of Ping G10's on there for a really good price.  I'd recommend checking it out, they have a good feedback system too so it is pretty safe as long as you are careful and know who you are buying from.  (Always pay with paypal and don't gift the payment or anything like that)

Some very good recommendations, I've had a lot of luck with golfwrx.com's classified section, as well as callawaygolfpreowned.com. Also, Globalgolf.com and 3balls.com are good resources. I've purchased from all 4, with great results.

I haven't heard of any lefty fakes, not sure that's because China doesn't consider lefties a big enough market or it's just reported less based on percentages.

I've never had a problem with eBay.  Bought almost all of my club that I have now from different sellers on the site, but like it has been said before, make sure you do your research.  What is the lowest price might not be the best transaction, and so on.  Look for positive customer feedback for a lot of the sellers... I'll shut up b/c I'm sure you know what you to do if you've been on there.

Ive always bought off of Ebay and have had good luck with it.  You just need to make sure that you review a sellers feedback and pay with Paypal.

My local Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy have used clubs and they sell used clubs online at both places.

I've bought my last three sets off Ebay, but like others have said above, do your research first. My local Golfsmith also sells clubs, but horribly overpriced and often in worse shape than those I've bought on Ebay. FYI.

If you buy online aske for a serial number, should help a little bit.
