Good luck with all that. I've heard they have a few golf courses down that way.

I'd guess I'm probably around 90% solo as well. Aside from simply being a measurement for me, the only use the number got last year was the KHMA Club Championship. Hardly the sort of thing that should need to be peer-reviewed. I'm still considering whether to simply ignore the rule or not.

Something tells me that most people will.

In all honesty, I actually forgot about it... Though 18 of the 27 I played Sunday was with two other young guys so I can still post that part. I really think this rule is pretty garbage.

I'm hoping to play this weekend. I'm still trying to finish my mother-in-law's house so she can move home and we have a lot to do to our house to put it on the market. The company in Orlando is flying me down there for an onsite interview in 2 weeks. It's getting pretty real. So much to do...

We definitely need to get one more round in before your off.

I was sort of toying with the idea of playing in a KHMA event on Saturday, but I'm not committed yet. ... Actually kind of like the idea of playing Homestead better at this point.

I should be moving in to my new apartment this week and getting in a round of golf after moving would be a good way to relax. If you end up getting out and have room for another golfer I'd be happy to join. Also, if when you get in down there in Florida, keep me in mind if you see any openings in the IT department

That does sound pretty good. Always love Homestead. I missed the Group Golfer deal to buy a round at Sebastian Hills for $20. Billy will probably want to play too.

I guess that makes 4. What time would work for you?

Got a thing or two to do Saturday evening, but any tee time before 2 p.m. ought to work on Saturday. Sunday is wide open to my knowledge.

Sunday is Mother's Day, so I'm not sure that will be available for play...

For the sake of planning, why don't we say 11 a.m. Saturday.  That would give me all the time I need.

Looks like I will be home, but they are calling for t-storms tomorrow. I suppose I will try to finish the mother-in-law's house.

Doesn't look too bad for chances of getting away with not getting rained on, I fancy the chances of keeping dry. I'm more worried about the 18 mph winds :-) Up to you, I fully understand the avoiding the possibility of getting rained on.

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
