I stopped by Kittyhawk yesterday to spray golf balls around the driving range. According to the desk guys, the one morning slot open is behind the group from hell. I put in for a noon tee time. They put it in as a full, so if @Jeremie Boop and I are definitely playing, we've got room for two more.

If @CarlSpackler might be able to play earlier, I can cancel the tee time and we could try elsewhere.

I am a tentative yes. Have applied for the kitchen pass yet. She will be at her friend's house all day helping to set up, so what she doesn't know... >=)

@mcanadiens @Jeremie Boop Looks like I'm good for tomorrow at noon. Hawk might be a little soggy from the overnight rain.

That's fine, I'm pretty used to soggy conditions with all the rain we've gotten up here as well. The reason for playing Hawk is because @mcanadiensand I are going to play in the member/guest thing coming up so we thought it would be a good idea to get a round or two in before.

Good playing with you guys. Sorry my A game only showed up for 3 holes. At least the trees were friendly today.

Not a problem, you've seen me on days where I'm lucked to find my d game :-) Was great to get a round in with you again, even if the weather wasn't the greatest.

Not too bad, but I only stayed for a few hours. Once there were more teens than adults I ran!

I guess if we're about to lose @CarlSpackler permanently, we should try to get one last round in.

Any thoughts when or if we might be able to do that?

Alrighty, sounds good man. I may get there a bit early to warm up. Are we walking or riding?

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
