This weekend is the Walker Cup! I guess here are some people who are interested in some quality amateur golf.

The course they play on is another highlight: Royal Aberdeen Golf Club, the sixth oldest in the world: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMUIvOW8428 (cool video presenting the course).

I played there last year, and when the wind is up, it's a very hard test (at least it was for me ).

I think the US-Team should win it, considering they have the WAGR numbers 1 (Cantlay), 2 (Spieth), 3 (Rodgers) and 4 (Uihlein) on their roster.

Are you planning to watch some of it? Who's your favourite?

US better in singles. GB/Ireland better as a team. Seems to be something of a pattern. Course and weather did favor the hosts, but they must still be well chuffed to beat such a strong lineup.

Stretch.

Good win for the British/Irish Team. I guess they knew better how to play a links course.

Funny how similar it was to the Ryder Cup, US-Team losing the team matches and winning the singles.

I thought the weather really affected them, there was some really mediocore play sometimes (for example on sunday, the 17th hole or all the wayward tee shots on saturday)
