What a minute, a win? Oh jeez. At no point in that tournament were Sara's true odds less than 200/1. And that's being conservative. Even when she jumped to -5 there were multiple classy players several shots ahead of her. And every single one of them were favored to have a superior round than Sara on Sunday.

If a mediocre player shoots 65 or 68 on Saturday while a top tier player shoots 73 or 76, the top player is favored to have a better round on Sunday. Bet pro golf and you'll be jolted toward that reality in a hurry. Particularly in women's golf the distinct tiers separate in the late going. Sara collapsed to 76 on Sunday, after shooting a comical 85 in the final round of the Ladies European Tour event a week earlier, including 48 on the front nine.

Sara needs Top 28 minimum this week to salvage any status for 2012. Otherwise it's off to Q School finals where she sneaked by on the number last year, despite nothing worse than a bogey over 5 rounds. You can't count on that again.

I'll also concede I find her about as attractive as a bucket of dead ants, although the dead ants are considerably more sincere.

Awesome photo of Paula Creamer, though. That indeed made this thread.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I am a Sara Brown fan and think she is cute as hell but I just can't see her winning anytime soon. Way to inconsistant.

Looking at girls who are only golf hot is useless unless you are actually on a course and there is no basis for comparison. Here on the interwebz, it's like looking at the nicest Ford Fiesta in a parking lot full of ferarri's.

BTW, on a related topic to the thread, I saw that Ryan O'Toole, also from the same season of BB is in the running for Rookie of the year.

    • You probably just go too fast. If you can't do it slowly, you won't do it fast. Good.
    • Does confidence breed game or does game breed confidence? I would think it's both and that I have little of either at the moment. Have struggled to break 80 even on some easier tracks outside of my home course, which seemed like I had it in the bag on most days during the summer.  The regression is evident in the variance that has creeped into my most trusted of game aspects, especially my short irons and wedges. I went through a three month period this summer where I couldn't mishit a wedge if I tried. Not exactly terrible but the sharpness is gone and so is the confidence. And as it almost always happens, it has affected my driving as well, which was also something I had made solid strides on. Admittedly, lot of it is self-created as as I am a perennially pathological tinkerer.  I didn't bother posting a video I took yesterday as it seems like there is no point in posting it. I saw what I needed and let's just say in spite of all the academic help I have gotten from @iacas, @JetFan1983, @saevel25 and of course, @boogielicious I can only conclude that I am bit dense as a golf student.  I will still see this as my best year yet and remain committed. Maybe a trip to Erie is in order at some point in the winter months.
