Over the years I had accumulated so many tees of all colors and shapes. With the modern driver, I needed a slightly longer tee than the ones of yore.  Last year, I broke down, threw out all those little ones, and bought a bag of neon green ones.  They lasted me the entire year. On the par threes, I use a broken stub and even do that with a hybrid/3wood tee shot.

I almost aced out with a pink tee that I found in the box lol. 154 yard Par 3 on a downward slope, busted my PW to within 8 inches of the hole at rest (the ball mark was literally 3 inches away). Would have been something to ace on the fly. That pink tee and ball would have been encased and displayed on my bar!

On a side note, your quote is off. Not every hole ends with a putt. I've holed out a few times with my old faithful Wilson Harmonized 58°, while having forgotten my putter in my bag on the cart! Just messing with ya though!

Try watching an episode of "horders" in your den (or whichever room you keep extra clubs, balls, tees, towels, etc). It's an eye opener.
