Front left pocket: Wallet. I've always hated putting my wallet in my back pockets, since the many times I've forgotten I put it there - and then washed out a perfectly good piece of leather, not to mention the scare of losing driver's license, credit cards, money, etc...

Front right pocket: Anywhere from one to ten or so tees, basically depending on how long I've played so far. I fill up my pocket with tees at the beginning and just pull them out as I need them. The steering wheel on the golf carts has holes to put tees in, but I never use them, between the way I drive and the tees scratching and pricking their way into my knee.

I also keep up to three or four balls in my pocket--god knows when I'm going to need them, especially off the tee. Also since I like to play at off-peak times if possible, I'll sometimes re-hit a bad shot, or play with two balls...so it's convenient to have them in said pocket.

I keep my keys and cell phone in the cart. People know better than to call me on the golf course unless it's a real emergency, so I risk leaving it on.
"Shouldn't you be going faster? I mean, you're doing 40 in a 65..."

currently,
front right: spare ball, tees
front left: ball marker
back left: nothing
back right: glove when putting.

although, i must say that the tee-in-the-hat idea seems like it has some potential, assuming that the tee doesn't mess with my sunglasses

front right: zero friction tees, divot tool, ball markers (Jamaican dollars :)
front left: nada
back left: glove, lighter
back right: yardage book, scorecard, pencil

I'll only bring a spare ball (back pocket) if I'm riding and it's a long hike to the tee.

I don't like much in my pockets at all. I have a Crown Royal bag I keep in my golf bag in which I store my watch, ring, keys, change, pocket knife, etc... I take this stuff out of my pockets at the car and put them in the RC bag. When I'm done playing I take the tees, ball mark repair tool, etc... out of my pockets and put them in the RC bag ready for my next round.

I thought I was the only one who used a Crown Royal bag, haha. I use it to store balls and tees in my bag. My dad gave me one as a kid and I've held on to it. I still do put things in my pockets though.

front right: ball, quarter (1985), repair tool, zero friction tee, wood tee front left: chapstick back right: wallet back left: scorecard

Right Front: start off with 7 tees (don't ask why 7...I don't know), divot repair tool (which has a ball marker on it). Ball goes there also in between holes. Usually also have a ball marker clipped to my hat.

Left Front: usually nothing; the occasional provisional ball if I think I might need it.

Left back: Nothing. Ever.

Right back: glove when putting.

Everything else (money clip, keys, etc) go in my valuables bag inside my golf bag.

BTW, I use a ziplock for wallet, cash, cell phone, etc. Easy to deal with it all after the round and no worries about rain.

I don't like to have much in my pockets:

Right Front: Nike divot tool (small), Nike ball marker, USGA ball marker
Left Front: Nothing
Right Rear: Glove (when I take it off)
Left Rear: Scorecard (when walking)

My bag has a tee holder so when I'm walking it holds a couple Zero Friction tees and a couple natural wood tees for me.

I like to keep as little in my pockets as possible when playing.

Front Left: nothing; like others, I have a hard time getting things out with my glove on.

Front Right: a couple of tees, a couple of ball markers.

Nothing in the back pockets.

I have a small zippered bag attached to the towel ring of my golf bag which holds long tees; smaller tees I keep in a front accessible pocket of my golf bag.

    • Agree. The next omission needs to be that ridiculous team concept. Nobody cares about a team when they really don’t represent anything except being a group of diminished morality and/or washed up pro golfers. Or wait, we’ve also got total nobodies who’ve accomplished nothing who now get a participation trophy! Doesn’t that sound invigorating!
    • LIV moving to 72 holes is a subtle admission that 54 holes was nothing but a joke all along.
    • I was going to start a thread, but this seems like the place.  Yesterday I played my matchplay match at my local club.  My opponent is a notorious sandbagger by reputation.  The pro once pulled his tournament rounds from the past several years and said that it is impossible his tournament rounds are legit based on his handicap. here is what happened last night.  I am getting 4 shots from him.  His current handicap index is 15.3 i shot 45 on the front.   Was down 4 after nine, he had three birdies and shot even par. I was closed out on thirteen, we halved with a bogey.  That bogey put him one over par for his round.   He then took a triple on 14 and then left. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he lied about his score.   I wrote down on my scorecard what the score was.  He put higher values that didn’t affect the outcome of the match to pad his score and apparently make it not look as obvious.   He shot 36 on the front, but claimed 40.  The higher values for his score were in the online scoring app our club uses.  He did it this way: I won #7. He had a 2 foot putt for par that if he made would still lose the hole.   He picked up and said it didn’t matter since I won.  He took a 5 instead of a 4 after picking up a gimme. on #8 his approach shot on this par 4 was 8 inches.  I verbally conceded the putt but I had hit into a hazard.  I finished the hole with a 6.  Instead of birdie he put in for par. on #9, another par 4, his approach was to 18 inches.  I missed my par putt and then knowing how close I verbally conceded the putt.  I missed my bogey putt, he never conceded mine.  Instead of birdie he put down a bogey. He padded his score by 4 shots on the front.  And then did again on 10.  I rinsed one and made 6 on a par 4.  I putted out and he was fishing balls out of the lake so I drove off to the next tee.  He had 15 feet laying two but claimed a 5.     love to know the odds of a 15 handicap being even thru 12 holes on a round of golf.
    • They've been chuckling since they hooked the shark. I think Greg doesn't realize the jokes on him.
