New TM gear

TM is releasing a few new clubs early next week. They incluce the R5 TP, Rescue Duals which have 2 weights including a TP version. Also a new Monza Corsa putter with 2 weights. The R7 fairway is being updated as well and the V-Steel II will be out as well

Golf Channel spotlighted the new R7 Fairway...should be available in June and will retail for (you sitting down) $500 graphite shaft and $450 Steel shaft OUCH!

I just finished an article about the new TM stuff, it's posted on the homepage. I guess they have run out of uses for weights after they release these products. I really hope they don't release something crazy like a dual RAC wedge.

dont get me wrong im a taylormade fan, just look at my bag list. i just dont see how adjustable weights in putter can help

Draw or fade bias on putts anyone ? (ok,ok - my little joke)

rs4duke - Im guessing the main idea is that any individual trys to play with exactly the same pace of stroke at any given time,and on any given speed of greens,and then simply adjusts the weight of the putter to go further on slower greens or shorter distances on faster greens.Just another way of trying to control one of the variables of the game.Speed control is everything on the short stuff.

What Is It?

Mass in linear terms is an the amount of matter in an object, it is also a measure of its reluctance to change its linear momentum.
A Moment of Inertia is the rotational equivalent.
It can be described as the concentration of mass within the object relative to the axis of rotation (or spin axis).
An object can have several moments of Inertia based upon the point about which it is rotated.
The further away from the spin axis the mass is concentrated the higher the moment of inertia.
