Hello everyone, My name is Nikya pronounced: (Nick-eye-ya) haha...I'm Native American if your wondering about the origin haha (i get that a lot)....I'll be 25 in Oct. this year. I'm a Warranty department manager at a local pool and spa store. Senior in College, Husband and proud father of my one month old son!!

After years of watching and being interested I finally decided to pick up the golf. I'm totally new to the game (other than a few times when I've played around with my buddies who actually play..which consisted of me hitting a 9 iron once and awhile but mostly drinking beer and driving their cart.haha

my father in law, who is actually a great golfer has taken me out and given me a few lessons and he also passed his old set of clubs to me. My golf bag now includes:

Taylor Made Firesole irons 3-SW (including a Gap Wedge)

A Nike 10.5* Driver

plan to purchase a putter this weekend

I've been going to the range quite a bit. Everything is going well so far. I just wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to great conversations and feedback from everyone!
