Hi all

I have an Electric Spin launchpad, basically allows you to hit a ball at home. You can hook it up to your PC/PS2 if you like.

My question is, when hitting off this, the ball sits about an inch, inch and a half above my feet, is using this to groove my swing (I'm switching to S&T;) going to cause me problems (e.g. hitting thin, too shallow) when hitting off the floor rather than from the launchpad  (as the ball will be lower than I'd be used to from practising with the launchpad)

When I use the launchpad I tend to just choke up the club a little...

Thanks!

such a small amount you won't really hurt anything.

With that high T it looks like you can end up grooving a swing where you hit up on the ball with your irons.

I would buy a mat to stand on that's at the same height. If you don't think an inch and a half matters, hit a flush shot and then hit another one where your club is 1.5" above that spot and compare the results.

I'd want to be standing on a mat the same height as the ball (without tee) if I was going to groove a swing, but the instructors on here might feel differently.
