Played on Saturday in Atlanta with a course temp reading of 108*  It did not feel to bad until hole 12.  But from there all the way in it was brutal.  I had at least one bottle of water a hole and still could not feel hydrated.  Snack were apples straight from the cooler, refreshing but not much help.  Played pretty well which took my mind off the heat though.

About 10 years ago we had a heat wave and me and my buddy were the only ones on the course, it was 116.

Played yesterday, 95 degrees plus humidity. I love the heat, so I didn't mind. Plus, no one was playing, course was open!

Yesterday was the hottest round for me.

By the time I got home I updated my weather app it was 101 with a  heat index of 108.

Yikes.

Played a lovely round in Chiang Mai Thailand, just last April. End of April the hottest time in northern Thailand, don't ask me why but has something to do with the sun overhead, etc. Anyway, the temp was 41*C, which for USA folks is 105+, but the humidity was not too high.  The caddies were pleasant and pretty, the green fees super low, and the course uncrowded and friendly. Had a great, but yes, sweaty, day.

Played 9 holes today. It was 97F with a heat index of 108. I think we set a record for Chicago today.

“You don't have the game you played last year or last week. You only have today's game. It may be far from your best, but that's all you've got. Harden your heart and make the best of it.”

One of the associations I play in has a tounament in AZ every September, the hottest I have experienced out there is 112, we play a three round tournament and the temps were 107,110 and 112.

It wasn't too bad for me as I live in SW Florida and am used to playing in temps in the mid to high 90's, but my buddies from he UK rally struggle every year.

It does get hot here in Nashville! We played in a scramble today, it was a mild 103 degrees, and not even sure what the heat index was either! I guess it could be worse, it could be 32 degrees and no golf.

- Putter- Ping Cadence Ketsch

Suppose to go up to 103 here today and I am thinking about playing.....

Not sure if its a good idea or not though, its super rare for it to get this hot here and the humidity is horrible.

I golfed in 101 degree weather Saturday in Philadelphia. Weather channel said it felt like 103, with about 40% humidity. Managed all 18 holes with a friend, the group in front of us quit early. We played pretty pitiful. We ended up augmenting the rules on the back 9 to make competitive play a little more entertaining. It was fun none-the-less... beer makes 103 feel more like only 99

"Quick Dorthy....the oil can!"

This past Saturday, July 7th. We teed off before 8AM and by 11:30AM, it was 102 degrees Fahrenheit.

Golfed in 111 today, and it's supposed to be the same for the next three days. It wasn't too bad when the breeze blew a little, but the humidity was only about 10%. My inground, 20x40, 9' deep pool is 96 right now. I don't ever remember it getting that warm before. It's been HOT here!

    • Day 252: worked on chipping for a while with my chipping net. Worked on low, medium, and high shots. Productive session.
    • Day 180 - 2025-03-29 Not a long time today, but I got my five minutes in jumping and doing some work on the downswing.
    • I’ll just stick to the basics for now - got enough to work on… this is my home practice range. The little clearing in about the center of the photo is roughly 200 yards.

    • Played Musgrove Mill today. 72.3/155. +9 for 15 official holes as 2 holes are closed, and the par 5 16th plays as a converted par 3. We played the first three holes over to finish 18, and parred 1 and2 amped bogeyed 3. The good: hit every fairway. 1 less than normal for the converted par 3, but the second time I have done that this year. My sand wedge approach on 10 after a monster drive hit the pin in the back left corner hit he pin and spun away to 9’, and I missed the putt.   The great: hit 8 GIR and 7 were inside 10’. Needs work: Missed every birdie putt. No lip-outs. Just struggled on fast greens. Three-putted the par-5 9th with the pin on the back tier and jut missed hitting my approach to the proper level and it spun all the way to the front of the green.
