Does that mean they are are women's balls? I have a few of the clear pink balls from Pinnacle and need to know if I can use them when playing with more people than just me.

Back in the day men played with pink balls, yellow balls, orange balls, lime green balls. I haven't seen any pink balls that aren't specifically made for women and their slower swing speeds for quite a while. My Mom plays with pink balls, easy to see when the light is funny.

Last year, Bridgestone has some RX330 that are pink and for men. Here is an ebay link . Probably good for match play where you can let your opponent know they lost a hole to some playing a ladies ball to help put them on tilt.

I used them all the time in the 80's. Lots of guys did. I liked the orange balls too.

I played a round with a pink ball as a joke with friends. Probably wouldn't hesitate to play a pink ball if it was made for my (lousy) game.

i have bad eyes. i can drive past my ball in the middle of the fairway and be looking at a leaf that looks like a ball and drive up to it lol. yellow, pink, rainbow colored balls i dont care just give me something i can see better!!!

I don't have bad eyes but I do have trouble seeing the ball playing in the evenings when the light gets that odd dusk glow. I play the Srixon yellow balls but even those can be tough to see after 6PM.

If Bridgestone E5's came in pink I would use them for sure. It just makes them that easier to see.

Is it possible to dye white golf balls?

Wasting time waiting for a flight I learned the following:

The old formula Rit works better on Golf Balls then the new.

There are other brands then Rit.

Surlyn and Urethane take dye differently then nylon balls.

To sum it up - try a single ball first before tossing $45 in the dye pot.

This link leads to more information on dyes then the Rit site.

A few years back my little brother (bigger in size and ugly as a caveman lol) showed up with a dozen pink breast cancer awareness balls to a little par 3 course. Now the course is very small, 18 holes laid out in about the area of 9 holes. Balls always cross into your fairway and I've almost been hit quite a few times. So I ask my brother why in the hell did he bring pink golf balls to play with. He quickly replied "because if one gets away from me and hits somebody, they'll know it couldn't have been me using pink balls". I thought that was excellent strategy. Use whatever works man, who cares. You paid to play. When they start paying you to play, then they can set the rules as far as I'm concerned. I have a 5w with a ladies flex shaft and I can't do anything but hit that joker straight. I catch a lot of flak from my buddies for using it when I do bring it to the course. But they get the standard reply, "wanna touch it?".

Ill stick to white. I tried the B330's in Yellow. Liked how the ball felt, hated looking at it. Traded 3 sleeves with a buddy for 3 sleeves of Penta TP's.. Just could not get used to a non white ball. And I dont find them any easier to find in the fairway. Its not like white doesn't show up well in green. If your course is well groomed, there should be no problem finding the ball. And if your in the rough or the woods, well then its your fault, not the courses. :p

    • Day 7: got out my chipping net and worked on chipping in the living room for a solid 15 minutes. Worked on mostly low shots, but mixed in a couple of high shots as well.
    • Day 228 4-4 More hip/chest turn and wrist arching. Working on hinging wrist a bit later. Foam balls.
    • Day 27 (4 Apr 26) - Worked with grandson on basic pitches/punches in the back yard with varied irons/wedges.  Wrapped up the day rolling some putts on the 30’ carpet I can set up in the yard to give varied terrain - and this carpet rolls almost too easy. A great way to figure a read and know that pace has to be near perfect to get in the hole.
    • A bit of a struggle today.  Just some thoughts/musings.  For the backswing, it is like I am never going to be moving on from this. I don't know if I can ever get to the point where the backswing isn't like over 1.5 seconds in duration. Which is probably not ideal. I would like to get to the point where I can just fling the arms back and up.  I have to feel like my hands are going to hit my right thigh from P1 to P2. If not then they like to move 2-5 inches towards the ball from P1 to P2. Then it's just bad from there. This feeling is my hands not gaining much depth, just maintaining depth from set up. From the DTL view, the hands head towards the camera.  While I am doing that, hinge the crap out of the club with my wrist only. Hinge in a way that the club is pointing at the camera at P2.  From P2, lift the hands straight up. I can get here, and still roll the club inside and get it way too shallow.  With the downswing. There isn't much here. I still can't get the flow of this or the sequencing of this to line up. It doesn't help that hinging from P1 to P2 just throws off my entire timing as well.
    • Day 550 - 2026-04-04 Practiced in the sim at a club for awhile. Did a SW ladder and practiced for awhile with my 7I.
