They are keeping George Lucas as a creative consultant. So ask him what needs to be done with the franchise and then do exactly the opposite. George wants cute, floppy character with heart of gold... make a Warhammer 40K style dude. They really need to take this thing up a notch.

At the end of episode 6 the Emperor is dead, Darth Vader is dead and the Jedi order is basically down to Luke and 3 ghosts. They can go in many directions, I hope it's gritty and a true trilogy.

Why do they call golf "golf"?  Because all the other four letter words were taken.

Jar Jar was in 2. Why would he still be around in 7? I think people are way, way overplaying this Disney thing. They've done pretty well with Marvel, haven't they?

Couldnt care less.  I checked out after Episode 1 came out.  No doubt Disney will make a fortune on the Star Wars franchise though because as horrible as 1-3 were, people who loved Star Wars as kids will still flock to the theaters when a new Star Wars movie comes out.

This ^^^

My gut reaction when I hear "Disney" used to be negative because I would think of Mickey Mouse and princesses and The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (oy!).  But their image is a lot better now.  Erik is right, they have done quite well with Marvel, and besides, how could they do much worse than Lucas himself did with episodes 1 through 3?

Just to annoy us.  He is the Scrappy Do of the Star Wars Series.

Scrappy Doo was cool as they come compared to Jar Jar.... Does G.Lucas really expect people to believe there's some retarded alien rastafarian that trips over himself and talks like a 4year old? It's like Lucas wanted to destroy the series, he went to his kids asking for names.. Jar Jar and Count Doodoo (sorry dookoo) to name a couple.

Yeah, they both did a number on their respective Series.  But, Scrappy Doo can never be equated to "Cool"!  Right Raggy?

I like Disney, and I feel they have grown greatly and gained more experience taking over these franchises. But, I'm confused as to how you can continue Star Wars. Like OldBlu said, all the "bad guys" are dead.  So either they are about to make a truly diabolical villain better than the Emperor or they won't and it'll just make the franchise look worse after completing the 3rd movie.  I'm a huge fan of Star Wars, and was truly disappointed with the 2nd and 3rd movies.  I hope Disney does prove me wrong, though.

    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
