I think people spend way too much time trying to improve something as simple as a golf tee.

Not gonna lie i buy 250 tees at Wal-Mart for $3.99

I would have invented a pencil sharpener that would cut the end of a pencil in a concave fashion and use that as the tee. Buy one sharpener and make free tees........

I use a plastic type tee when using a driver. I think I've went through maybe three of them in the last few years. As mentioned, on iron shots off of a tee box I'll simply use whatever broken one I find in or on the ground.
