Recently I have decided to give Nike some love. I have never been a huge Nike guy but going into this season I picked up a few items to try. See signature for the clubs chosen. Sadly none of the equimpment is the latest so please feel free to give me some feedback on the clubs I will be using. I am excited to try the Method Core putter and VR sand wedge. thanks

I really enjoy the VR wedge, the top line really pleases the eye, and it feels great. I thought that the Method Core would be junk, it is one of my favorite putters (with an insert).

Driver and putter have been the 2 clubs that I have just not been able to get comfortable with so I figured why not change it up and go with NIKE. Going from a Vokey sand wedge with a dg spinner shaft to the VR stock shaft.

I have been playing Nike drivers since 09. (Dymo2, MachSpeed Black, VR Pro II & now VR-S)  I recieved the TM Rocketballz for free through work and can not hit that thing worth a lick.  I also had the 1st Slingshot irons (05 I think) when I first started to golf loved them too.

Add your clubs to a list, then add the list to your signature on your profile page.

Or just add them in your signature on your profile page.

Nike has come a long way. I still use the SQ 2 and 3 hybrids regularly. Great clubs and not expensive.

Nike makes good stuff.  They have hired some of the best people in the golf industry and in the case of their forged stuff, its made by Endo in Japan (one of the best forging houses in the world).  Some of my favorite clubs that Ive owned have been Nike (SQ Sumo driver, Slingshot irons).  A lot of people like to hate on Nike because they feel that Nike bought their way into the golf industry (including myself for a long time) but the fact is that Nike makes some of the best golf gear that money can buy.

I was on staff with Nike for the last two years before switching this season. I was very happy with the products they made. I just couldn't get used to the ball last season although I have been told that the new one is much better.

I was maybe still am tempted to go after the new Covert driver. I really wish I was skilled enough for the blades. They are very attractive clubs.

Nike's forged stuff is made in China and Thailand, and it's very good quality.

I used a Nike VR driver, 3W and hybrid, as well as testing out several different iron sets numerous times, but never really felt all that enamored with them, so I switched over to mostly TaylorMade.

I still use at Nike VR 60 degree and Method putter, both of which I love, so, who knows.

I just bought some VR TW blades and have been doing nothing but flushing them they are great. TaylorMade has my heart in terms of drivers and rescues and I just picked up a ghost putter that rolls well.

Wrong.  Look at the sticker on the shaft.  It says, "clubhead made in Japan".  Last summer I had a VR Pro wedge in the bag.  No argument about the quality though.  On a side note, yesterday I was at Golfsmith looking at putters and gave a Drone a few rolls.  It looks weird but it works and Im seriously considering trading my Never Compromise in on it!

    • I listened to the Shaun Webb one about the swing coach app. Sounds like a great thing and will (hopefully) be very useful for me. I do think the hosts are underestimating where AI could be in a few years. Right now it's just regurgitating stuff that it has been told or it has scrubbed from somewhere else and a human guiding things will be quite a lot more helpful than just the AI, but it's going to keep developing and it will reach the stage where it's figuring this stuff out on its own. Time will come when it will have you do a TPI style screen and take various height/arm length/leg length etc. measurements, have you tell it some history and your time constraints and goals and what not and it will watch a video of your swing face on and DTL and it will know exactly what you need to work on.
    • I found it entertaining, but the announcing was lousy.  How did the measuring on the final shot start with Rory being closer and being told he won, and then with no explanation it turns out Scottie won?  Weird.
    • Day 128 12-18 Worked on rotation and getting to lead side. Still working on the flow feeling while doing that. Recorded swings.
    • IMO-the only thing entertaining was the relay race. Everything else was excruciatingly boring...or just  stupid, like the 14-club thing. Watching guys blade wedges into the water over and over is not at all interesting.
