I'll stay out of the political commentary as I am a Canadian, and keep my comments golf related so...100 rounds of golf over four years???? What's the point of being rich and having a powerful job if you're gonna get gypped like that on Golf. Crap, I probably played more rounds that that and I'm piss poor broke LOL.

Hmmm...I wondered what happened.... I guess I really don't care and if my comment spurs a few people to open their eyes and realize that the current government now operates on a ruse to look like they care about crucial issues while removing freedoms and creating dependence on a handful of elitists that think they are smarter that everyone else and think they know what "we" need...

I swear I hate nothing more that to hear a republican and democrat argue. People need to be in power, not bought and paid for politicians.

The President took a weekend and played golf during a week when Congress decided it was a good time to go home and raise more money for their next elections. Because, you know, priorities.

Get over it.

I am a conservative.  I will not make a political post...I don't even know what it means to lose skins on this site.

I will say this: golf is a place to set aside our outside quarrels and disagreements.  In the world of golf, we should needle the bad shots, compliment the good shots, and stomp any cheaters.  We SHAKE HANDS at the end of the match and show respect.  Now, that last sentence is DEFINITELY NOT GEARED TOWARDS POLITICS.

Just my thoughts,

    • As Vinsk mentioned, do you know your swing speed or even better ball speed? The cheapest way to experiment would be to simply extend out the current shaft 1 1/2 inches. Although this is more than I ideally like to extend a club, I think in your case it would be without issues. This would cost you all of $17 more or less for the extension and a new grip. If you would rather go the new shaft route, I would drop into the lower 50g weight class to build to 47inch or whatever you want to try. Probably would also want something more butt weighted. That Riptide comes in a CB model at 50g which wouldn't be too expensive. I think you can find them for under $80.
    • Well, I'm going to have to go against the consensus here.  Unless you know for virtual certainty that you ball crossed into the penalty area ask yourself this.  Is there a possibility that your ball could be lost outside the penalty area?  IF so then you would need to act accordingly.  Back to the tee or if E 5 was in effect then out to the fairway and add 2 strokes.
    • The primary rough was pretty short though. On 18, where a lot of players missed right off the tee, it was short. I agree the long grass was nasty.
    • There was no rough. Those things you mentioned are part of the course design. Rough can be grown or trimmed to ones liking.
    • Yes. Also, try to get your partial wedge distances down for your current wedges.
