As I said on my swing thread, I sprained my right groin due to overswinging. Additionally, I am still nursing what appears to be a slightly dislocated upper ring finger (left hand).

So my question is what can I work on whilst I rest my injuries...?

Putting, putting, putting. Maybe see how it feels to do a little wedge work. I've seen your swing thread and I'm no expert but it looks like you swing considerable harder than necessary, working on little wedge shots chips and pitches could really help with your timing and lessen the over swing impulse.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

groin injuries suck, because they kill your lateral movement. Walking hurts to because being bilateral, there is some sway left and right when we walk.

i might say for cardio, you could try the eliptical or bicycle.

As for weight training, you can go for machines instead of free weights, because they isolate muscles in the legs.

You can still work the core with abdominal excersizes, and upper body.

As for golf, if you hurt it swinging, i wouldn't take full swings. Chipping, depending on your pain level. Putting is good as well.

I'm going to have to roll with what the others say... putting. It's something most people don't practice enough of anyways. Now you a good reason to put some real time into putting.
