Looks like majority of it is going to come through before 7am. Though there might be a scattered chance of rain through out the day. Temps look pretty good to, Mid 60's to mid 70's. By the looks of the so called storms, the wind is pretty stable, so the storms look to be not so severe, probably just heavy rain in the early morning.

lol

It was rolling pretty slow...and even at a faster speed, 2 inches to the left and it hits the pin. ;)

Hope you're right about the weather btw. A little rain doesn't bug me, as long as it isn't dumping down.

I think i am going to putt with my 3-hybrid tomorrow. Because i sure damn well can't make a putt with my putter. I think more loft will help me with more accuracy. I mean, wedges tend to be more accurate than 3-irons ;)

Not a bad idea. I had 18 putts last night. 18!!! Freakin' terrible...only one 1 putt, and one 3 putt. Only sunk 1 putt over 8 feet. If I could have putted like I normally do, 15-16 putts, I would have had a personal scoring record.

Such is golf, such is life...

See, that's where our mentality is different. That just keeps me wanting to come back even more. Every bad shot, every missed putt or duffed chip...every round I'm getting better. Even with my crappy putting yesterday, I can count 2 horrendous mistakes I made that don't normally happen. Cost me two shots at least...get rid of those and I'm at 39...when I was struggling to break 50 every time a couple months ago. And that's with absolutely horrendous putting. I will hit or break par on a 9 this year. It is going to happen. My last two 9s combined have consisted of 9 pars...so it's coming together...

The problem for me is my game was coming together I had gotten to where I was hitting mid 40's easily even with bad holes. Now I can't keep out of the 50's. It's the backsliding that makes me want to quit, but knowing my potential keeps me from quitting.

*side note*

Are there any good sporting goods/golf stores near this course? I may head that way tonight and stay and want to look at maybe grabbing a 4w and/or new 60*.

Doh, forgot to add, maybe a flat brim hat in neon green and golf shirt in neon yellow. Maybe a bright orange belt to go with that and white pants.

There's a Golf Galaxy in Akron. Looks like it's 14 miles from the course.

I will be dressing more like Bubba than Rickie tomorrow...no PING visor though. lol

Correct. Like 500 feet away.

Just crash with Spyder, his wife, and kids. I'm sure he won't mind at all...

ROFL, part of the reason for maybe staying somewhere near there is to get away from some kids

I may just stay in the area saturday night, if I do anyone in the area going golfing sunday too? Wouldn't mind hitting another new course before heading home if I stay out there.

I wish I could, have too many plans for Sunday.

BTW, we're back to isolated T-Storms and only 30%.

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
