I was thinking just guys, we play 18, get stinking snockered afterwards, hit the Indian casino's, get some lap dances, pass out at a nearby hotel, and go home in the morning after a Truck driver breakfast and bloody mary's.

Tell the wives the golf was uneventful and the other guys were boring.

Sounds like my 20's (and part of my 30's)  :)

17th would work best for me.  I'm not in for sure, but it's hard to pass up a round of golf if I'm available.

Even par through 9 is my best.  I don't even want to think about what was my worst.

So we just about have two groups as long as everyone could make it.

1. cipher

2. sigfan2340

3. PooN

4. JimmyC

5. McMullenCPA

6. Wisguy

7. Reedf

Just one more guy to make it a full two groups if the above are able to come.  Come one Jakester!  Ha ha!  I am sure one of us could find a guest as well if we need to.

We do this in SE Wisco and all that could happen and all within a 30 mile drive!

If where are you guys thinking of going? I could probably swing it if I don't have to do an overnight

Sweet, that would mean we have two groups then.  I would be going down for just the day as well.

Hawks View looks awesome but I am thinking $85 per person would be too much.  jimmyc, do you know of any deals we could get there?  What other courses in the SE might be good?  If anyone has any ideas, let us know.

I was thinking late morning for the tee times possibly?

Evergreen isn't a bad course. Its affordable and has 27 incase anyone wants to get in an extra 9. Also theres usually openings since they can send people out off of all 3 9's.

Maybe we could contact Hawks View and ask if they would give a discount if we write a raving review for them about the course.  Haha.

What do you guys think of playing here?

http://www.golfbrightondale.com/

Nice courses... 45 holes. I play league there on Tuesdays. I can talk to them about a discount.

They also offer this...... http://www.golfbrightondale.com/email-club.html

That works for me. I pass it every time we go to the lake house. I have heard good things about it.

My only concern is we are playing on a Sat. and it is a muni, so it could be a 5+ hour round. But I'll live if that's the case.

That looks nice.  I would be down for that.

Guys, that course looks nice, the price is reasonable, but I've got a vacation the last week of August and as it rolls closer, without some major projects at my house being completed yet (amazing how crappy a summertime cold can make you feel and how badly it can interfere with plans), I don't see how I can squeeze a full 9-10 hour golf outing into my schedule this month; Brighton Dale would be about a 4-hour round trip for me.  So I think I'm going to have to back out of the planned outing on the 17th.  If we want to try for another outing in mid-late September, I could do that.

In my bag: - Ping G20 driver, 10.5 deg. S flex - Ping G20 3W, 15 deg., S flex - Nickent 4dx 3H, 4H - Nike Slingshot 4-PW - Adams Tom Watson 52 deg. GW - Vokey 58 deg. SW -Ping Half Wack-E putter

I'm not going to be able to golf the 17th either. I just found out I have to work that Saturday and Sunday. Have fun I wish I could make it.
