I specified Casio because I'm not sure other cameras have the delete portion of video feature (scissors). If others do, then this is for you too.

I'm using run of the mill cards (PNY) that say 20 MB/s. I'm not sure if that's write or read speed or max or min, but I assume it's not min 20 MB/s write. The gist is that when I delete the beginning and end of videos, I want it to work faster because on longer videos, it can take awhile, literally minutes. For example deleting the first 2 minutes from a 10 minute video can take what feels like 5 minutes.

Will a faster card make a difference? Is the fastest speed limited by the camera? I'm using the EX-FH100.

If a faster card will make for quicker edits, which one of these would you recommend? Some top out at 90 MB/S write max.

I can say that going from a class 6 to a class 10 definitely made stuff like that faster for my Casio. Editing still takes a while, but it is much faster. I don't generally take 10-minute slow-motion videos though. Mine are generally two minutes that I cut down to about 13 seconds. The biggest difference is that after taking a video, the time it takes to save is much, much faster: it's almost instantaneous now. Transferring to my computer is also faster.

In my bag:

Yeah, mine is Class 10 but I think those designations aren't exactly clear cut. I like leaving the camera going but maybe that's not practical from a tech and cost standpoint for now.
