The Irish Course has a deal for $70 to play it in November.  Would anyone be interesed in playing on the 7th, 8th, or 9th?

Got the Irish on Game Golf this year.  The jerkylickers in my group decided they were cool and wanted to play the tips.  That was just stupid.  We played it from 7200.  It was in the 40s with 20+ mph

Pretty excited about playing tomorrow.  Temp should be in the high 40s.   I am going to try out the new grenade driver as well.  Since I don't have any real friends, I am taking an insurance agent we work with.  All someone had to do was speak up and their round was paid for.  Too late! ;-)

Not well.  I have not played in almost a month.  I shot about 90, did not really keep score.  I was trying out a new driver as well which actually did not cost me too many strokes, but I just had some bad bounces and made some mistakes in playing the course for the first time.  Had a few low point issues, but not bad considering the time off of playing.  Had a bunch of pitch shots spin a bit too much off the closely mowed areas around the green.  I was not used to that, and a bunch of short shots would stop when I thought the would roll out.  I could have putted much better had I used aimpoint, but I am not great at it yet and did not want to slow things down.  It is my favorite course I have played thus far.  It is just awesome, I love the waste areas and the design.  Gotta get the kids to bed but if you have more questions, please ask.

Here is the walk from the tee to the green on Blind Man's Bluff.  Some may not know but it is a par 3 with a blind tee shot.

At 40 degrees when we started, we did not have the heart to play from 7200. We decided on the blues at 6750 which was all I could handle in the wind and the cold. I did destroy a couple balls about 250 though. :P

      That was a good watch. When I started working on pelvis in the backswing. I thought, this sounds contradictory to those leg straightening threads on the site. Erik has already done a correction. Then the last lesson we went more down the route of feeling the right knee gains flex. It doesn’t, but the feeling keeps my knee position in a good range. Also, I just realized how much extra work my right hip needed to do to stabilize the body with the proper weight shift. Those glute and hip stabilizers got worked. 🤣 I wish this evolution in the golf instruction happened 20 years ago! 😭

      I've been Playing Golf for: 40 yrs My current handicap index or average score is: 4.0 factor My typical ball flight is: Straight however sometimes slight draw. The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: squirt to the right due to to much arm not enough turn.       The first issue Erik spoke about is something we worked on for my swing during both GEARS sessions. GEARS was showing my pelvis center moving towards the ball during the back swing. I wasn’t the 4” guy though! This forced me to correct on the downswing to give myself space. My hip rotation was to high as well. We corrected it by first getting the weight off my heels in my stance and getting my posture correct. Then the feel was shifting back into my right hip at a 45 degree angle. This kept my pelvis center from moving towards the ball at the start of the backswing. I also didn’t sway back as much as I felt I did because of the angle I was shifting. Feel Ain’t Real. The cool thing about GEARS is as you work on something you can see the exact (Real) change happening. On video, it is much harder to spot this issue because of the 2D nature of filming. But I know what to look for now. Sadly, I was hurt all last year and most of this year so I really haven’t been able to work on it much. I did do a lot of backswing work though.
