I have actually not played there, and it looks relatively inexpensive.  Should easily offset the cost of your gas to get up here.

Got the Irish on Game Golf this year.  The jerkylickers in my group decided they were cool and wanted to play the tips.  That was just stupid.  We played it from 7200.  It was in the 40s with 20+ mph

Hayward is about an hour away from me.  I wish it was closer.  I was just looking on their website, and they have a twilight membership for only $300!!  I could play a lot more golf for that.

That course looks awesome! Too bad it's 6.0 hours away from me! That would mean I would have to be leave Thursday morning, play 18 holes at Lawsonia, then drive up there, sleep, play Big Fish on Friday, then leave after golf, stay over night somewhere and play Northern Bay on Saturday then drive to the Dells on Sunday morning, play Wild Rock then head back home after.......

I did not realize Blackwolf Run was his design.  I have heard that is pretty tough.

      Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)

      Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry

      You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
