Why?!? :-P

Does it really matter? Can we let this one die? It's been unearthed and put (back) to rest a couple times now.

(Sorry, in a snarky mood, I guess. ;-))

I'm with @roamin does it really matter what you call it?  Call it a rainbow, I think I might start calling it a Mick, hit the shot you need, nothing else really matters.

I've definitely hit shots > 10 feet that I wouldn't call a flop. I've probably hit the ball 40 feet in the air and would call it a lob.

I'm sticking with what I said in my earlier post.

Heck, pros routinely hit Driver 100 feet in the air. Of course, they could be using their lob Driver!

I sometimes swing under the ball and catch it on the top corner of the clubface...the ball pops up like a 100 yard wedge shot but goes sky-high (like Superman leaping a tall building in a single bound, high). I call it my, "one wedge". Seems like the ball is in the air forever...I wonder if I could hit it a bit shorter and finally win the Flop Shot Challenge badge? :-P
