Definitely workout before.  You feel energized.  After walking a round of golf or even a prolonged simulator session wears me out.  I'd rather workout before and get it done.  Plus you feel jacked afterwards.

Unless you feel like jelly, which can often happen. Then there’s no way you can swing after.

True that.  That doesn't happen to me after powerlifting sessions though.  Maybe after HIIT or high rep work, I'd certainly agree.

I workout before and after golf. 30 mins on the elliptical machine to warm up upper and lower body.

After golf, 30 minutes of intervals in the stationary bike, and stretching movements.

Finally, drink protein shake and take a nap.

    • It was definitely odd.  The Course Ratings seems to reflect the actual yardages, they're a lot lower than I'd expect based on the "scorecard yardages".  Still, both courses were in good shape, with nice variety of lengths and shapes of holes.  I didn't dislike the pins at Eaglesticks as much as a few guys did, but I play a course with a few challenging (or odd, or even stupid) greens.  I also enjoyed the elevation changes at both.  Even though I know the Appalachians extend into Ohio, I always have an image of a "flat" state, and this was anything but flat.   As always with TST outings, it was great fun, seeing old friends, and making some new ones.
