I purchased this book and am about 5 weeks into using the exercise program.

Ever since I had leukemia, chemo, a bone marrow transplant, the long hospital stau, and the resulting Graft vs. Host disease... I thought flexibility was my main problem.  Going through the tests in this book I discovered that in addition to my flexibility problems, I'm no longer very good at balance either.  I think they are related in that I'm stiff in my lower leg and ankles, that contributes to making it hard to balance on one leg

I am already sensing improvements, mostly in my flexibility.

I'm giving this book a thumbs up.

Note - don't get the Kindle version.  There are missing pictures and it's a really big hassle paging through a kindle to get to the exercise descriptions.  There are a lot of exercises that vary from routine to routine, and I've been prescribed 16 separate routines.  That's a lot of time spent paging trough a Kindle.  In an actual book you could mark down page numbers next to the exercises per routine and get to the descriptions easily.  I've ordered an actual book to replace my Kindle version.

@boogielicious, I've searched this site but can not find your review.  If you (or anyone else) can find it a link would be appreciated.

I am new to thesandtrap.com and this post I'm quoting (No Mulligans) is relatively old but I thought it was inspiring and glad I came across it.  To deal with everything you have gone through and then invest time in your fitness and health with the goal of playing better golf despite everything else is awesome.  Thanks for the motivation.  Also, I give Joey D a thumbs up.

Jumping in to follow. I am curious to hear how it goes for you

I've been sticking to the program for a while and am planning on continuing with it.  I am making improvements in my flexibility and balance. I'm enjoying the work outs and results.

Good to hear. I do it as a matter of routine now 2 to 3 times a week as part of my workout. I add in other items from my physical therapy exercises. Lately, I've been adding some other core and plyometric exercises to it. That has helped too.

    • Shot an 88 yesterday.  Witnessed a clear example -- all things being equal -- of how distance off the tee is greater than accuracy.  On 15, I sliced my tee shot (Driver) onto the an adjacent fairway.  Still, it was a reasonable drive distance (250 yards) and clearly the accuracy left something to be desired: However, it did leave me an interesting approach shot.  Down the other side of a hill, obfuscated by trees, creating a "blind shot."  No worries.  I hit the best approach shot of my golf life: And then, on the next stroke, bag my second birdy ever.
    • I just got a new B.O.A.T. BEST SHOT:  So, the only thing I had working all day was my DRIVER.  So, when I arrive at the twelfth tee box, I'm feeling pretty confident...  However, I've lost a few balls (sliced drives) to the lateral water hazard.  No worries, I've been nailing it.  Then standing on the tee, I decide to go straight at it (shortcut).  To be successful, however, I don't just need a good drive... I need my BEST drive... and I GET IT.    Best shot of the day.  Anxiously holding my breath until I saw it bounce on the far fairway...  I practically skipped out of the tee box.
    • Yesterday, I rolled an 88.  I'm no mathematician but I believe it's under 90.
    • Thank you, good to hear Good golfing👍
    • Day 25- Putting and chipping practice indoors. Practice has been transferring to block practice at practice greens, and hope it will happen when I am playing this weekend.
