Attachment to a building

Anybody that lives in our little town lives there because nothing ever changes, and they like that. People move here because it reminds them of quaint European villages. Won't be the same tomorrow because the oldest landmark burned down tonight. Never really thought about feeling an attachment to a building but I'm really sad about it. Tons of truly priceless antiques and art were in the hotel and the art gallery. A huge loss for this little town.
